Created for a greater purpose
In this life, it can be so so easy to overlook what we were created for. Each and every one of us were created uniquely, personally, and carefully. We all have a greater purpose in our lives. One that God mapped out from the beginning of time. Before our birth, our paths had been drawn. But I think a lot of us take that knowledge, and over exaggerate it. We take it and think that we have to push ourselves to our limits, day after day, night after night. But what this little piece of knowledge really means, is that no matter what choice you make, your life will always be YOUR LIFE. It was made for you and you alone. No other person can try to be you, because they are not you. We were created with the most gentle of hands, and with the thought of something eternal ahead of us. We don’t have to scrape the grounds night after night, looking for the next project to complete, or the next milestone we think we must reach. That is not the point of our existence. We were created to create. Be who you are, wholeheartedly and undoubtedly. Take each day step by step, without forcing yourself to reach an invisible timer every second of the way. Just be you. Laugh, smile, dive into nature, read your favorite books, go try that hot yoga class. Do all of these things and more, but make sure whatever you do in this life time, you do it for you. Without the strength of yourself, you will never truly be able to live. You have to be your own greatest work of art to get further in life. You have to look at new milestones you want to achieve as goals you truly have an interest in, not just things you feel like you have to complete because you “feel behind” or are “missing out”. When you look at the, with this mindset, you will truly never feel accomplished, no matter how well you succeeded at it. Do it for you. Do it because your soul cried out for it. Because you felt that gravitational pull that no one else can break. Let yourself rest and find peace in the spaces that allow you to breathe, and not feel like you live in an imposters body all the time. God created us for so so much more. But not more for anyone else, more for our personal selves. He wants us to love ourselves, pour into ourselves the way we mindlessly pour into others, treat ourselves with the kindness we give strangers. Just allow yourself to breathe. Reflect on your life, have you truly been living, or just simply surviving?
